Location: MN-Minneapolis, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Crew product owner associates co-create software products using Agile methods by representing the needs of the business and customers. Crew product owner associates collaborate with developers, user experience professionals, and data analysts to prioritize work and to assess outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile Scrum team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and actively contribute to story refinement and backlog prioritization
  • Translate complex product logic and rules into clear test scenarios and validation strategies for new product development
  • Lead the development of detailed, structured, and traceable test plans aligned to business requirements and product logic
  • Facilitate meetings to refine testing strategy, clarify requirements, and align cross-functional teams on expected outcomes
  • Review test execution evidence to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined test cases
  • Partner with Quality Engineering (QE), Product, and Development teams to triage, debug, and resolve defects identified during testing cycles
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in product logic and proactively drive resolution in ambiguous or fast-paced environments
  • Support new product development efforts by ensuring business rules, and outputs are thoroughly validated prior to launch
  • Act as a bridge between product, and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements, logic, and delivery outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, QA/UAT, or similar roles within Agile environments
  • Must be willing to work onsite 3 or more days onsite each week
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with the product development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business logic, calculations, and data relationships
  • Experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and validation processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve defects
  • Experience in financial services, tax, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for validation and analysis of product calculations
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to lead discussions and influence outcomes across stakeholders

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
