Product Owner

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Product Owner to join their team in the New Albany, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for supporting an established platform, including enhancements, defects and feature requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for an internal ERP system
• Gather and translate requirements from procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical leads to deliver incremental improvements
• Support ongoing modernization of legacy ERP components and data architecture
• Partner closely with the Product Manager and engineering leadership to execute roadmap priorities
• Ensure clear documentation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and the development team
• Support continuous improvement of workflows tied to materials and supply chain processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in technical environments
• Strong Agile/Scrum execution experience
• Proven experience working with enterprise systems (ERP strongly preferred)
• Experience managing product backlogs, enhancement pipelines, and support tickets
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and technical requirements
• Experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or inventory-related systems

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Experience supporting system modernization or migration initiatives
• Familiarity with SQL and MongoDB
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog tools
• Experience working in Agile enterprise transformation environments

TERMS:

This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $130K based on experience. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision and other benefits.
