We are seeking an Analytics Lead to define, deliver and drive adoption of end-to-end analytics solutions that create strategic business value. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Advanced Analytics, you will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, data engineers and scientists to scope, develop and deliver advanced analytics solutions into production.
This is a hands-on role with an initial focus on Online fulfilment, where you’ll translate business challenges into technical solutions, ensuring our data products are fit-for-purpose and drive measurable outcomes across our supply chain.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and analytics teams to identify high-value opportunities.
- Work backwards from the business requirement, decision or workflow, using exploratory data analysis to diagnose problems and test assumptions.
- Turn early-stage ideas into functional prototypes using available data, rapid analysis and AI-assisted tools.
- Co-design and iterate prototypes with stakeholders, making ideas tangible quickly and refining them through feedback and experiments.
- Synthesise complex outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Drive measurable value through analytics use cases and analytical products, from early prototype through adoption.
- Translate validated business needs and prototypes into clear requirements for Data Science, Data Engineering and Technology teams to scale where appropriate.
- Lead implementation, user adoption and value tracking for solutions that move beyond the prototype stage.
- Communicate progress, risks, prototype limitations and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics or another relevant field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in analytics, product ownership, consulting or a similarly business-facing, hands-on analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience using data platforms such as Snowflake and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Confidence working hands-on with data to build and iterate practical prototypes. Python or similar scripting capability is strongly preferred.
- Comfort using modern AI-assisted analytical and coding tools to accelerate analysis and prototype development.
- Experience in Agile ways of working and product management tooling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the judgement to balance speed, rigour and usability.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to co-design solutions with diverse stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders and turn analysis into measurable action.
- Clear judgement about when a prototype is sufficient to test an idea and when it needs specialist Data Science, Data Engineering or Technology support to scale.
- Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy.

- Access to the Brighter Benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health – with over 60 suppliers!
