Business Analyst
Indexed description
We're scaling our digital health products and looking for a proactive Business Analyst to own the analysis and specification side of delivery, turning intent into build-ready specs, and making complex, regulated work genuinely clear for everyone from developers to senior stakeholders.
Why Join Us
- Full-time role at the heart of a growing tech-enabled health company
- Work closely with a Product Owner who sets direction, while you own analysis and specification
- Exposure to real healthcare data, regulated content, and product delivery end-to-end
- AI-augmented ways of working, use AI assistants to help draft stories, build reports, and prototype UI
- Room to grow into end-to-end ownership of a workstream as you build trust
- Meaningful work that supports Australians accessing care
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements from marketing, operations, and client-group stakeholders
- Write build-ready stories, tasks, bugs, and spikes with proper acceptance criteria
- Specify screens, components, and flows against our product design system; produce wireframes and annotated specs, and review what's built against spec
- Produce product analysis from real data, usage, user journeys, conversion and drop-off, funnel performance and turn the numbers into recommendations
- Get to know the healthcare domain and day-to-day operational flows; get regulated and patient-facing wording right alongside clinical and billing stakeholders
- Track progress, keep task lists current, flag risks early, and support UAT, release readiness, and support-ticket triage
- Keep documentation and process flows up to date
- 3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst on software products
- A real talent for translating and explaining technical or complex work clearly and convincingly, in writing and in person, to senior, non-technical, and external audiences
- Hands-on user-story writing, acceptance criteria, and backlog grooming using modern Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, or equivalents)
- UI specification experience working to a design system (tokens, components, patterns) using tools like Figma
- Product and funnel analysis experience with clear reporting (GA4, ad-platform data); SQL is an advantage
- Strong, precise written communication and stakeholder management across clinical, operational, and technical groups
- Australian citizenship, required for our client engagements
- Australian healthcare domain knowledge, or a track record of getting on top of a regulated domain quickly
- Practical experience with AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) and good judgement on when to check the output
- Healthtech, telehealth, or other regulated-industry experience
- No-code/low-code tools (e.g. Lovable) and a basic grasp of APIs and integrations
- A relevant certification (CBAP, Agile/Scrum, or similar)
