About The Role
Reporting into the Senior Business Analyst, the Business Analyst role is to provide key information, specifically in the areas of business impact assessment, current state mapping and requirements gathering, to enable the role to map ‘to be’ business processes, assist in the collation of business rules, data modelling and provide quality inputs which will inform options analyses, order of magnitude estimation and business cases.
Day To Day Responsibilities Include
- Provide key information by completing impact analysis for Business, ECIS and ECS, documenting “as-is” and “to-be” business processes and gather and document business, functional and non-functional requirements whilst maintaining end to end traceability
- Understand business operations, seek efficiencies and provide quality customer service
- Document high level and detailed impact assessments, options analyses and effort estimates
- Assist with solving complex technical and business issues to resolution and design, lead and facilitate workshops as required.
- Support in the Corporate Planning activity, including data collection and reporting.
- Assist in the development of a quality management plan with the provision of quality targets and assessment. Assist with the development of the testing strategy and test plans in conjunction with ITS and the business and support the testing program and the resolution of testing issues
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagements skills and ability to influence others to obtain support and work towards a common goal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Hands-on and able to work collaboratively at all levels in an organisation.
- Experience with Workforce Management systems.
