Job purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Claims Assistant – Reporting & Analytics to support the Claims Admin team. The role is responsible for day-to-day operational reporting, claims data analysis, management information reporting, forecasting support, and assisting in process improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with Claims Operations, Finance, Business Teams, and IT Development teams to generate insights, monitor performance, and support system enhancements. In addition, the role will provide ad-hoc operational support related to claims transactions, including data validation, transaction monitoring, issue investigation and data reconciliation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and dashboards.
- Analyze healthcare claims data and identify trends, anomalies, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ad hoc reports and analyses to management and stakeholders as required..
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.
Operational Support
- Support the healthcare claims operational cycle through reporting and analytical activities.
- Monitor operational KPIs, service levels, productivity, and turnaround times.
- Maintain reporting trackers, and performance scorecards.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Operational Reporting, MIS Reporting, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or similar analytical roles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Power Query, Advanced Formulas, Data Analysis, Dashboard Development, Data Reconciliation, and Reporting).
- Basic Power BI development and reporting knowledge.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
