Description

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead discovery work for a product in transition. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in documenting the current state and desired future state of the product. They will help to shape the roadmap and prioritize features balancing current work against upcoming business needs.

Responsibilities:

Execute discovery work for a product in transition, documenting current state and desired future state to guide the development process.

Capture business requirements and document existing business and technical processes within Disney's Commerce Team, in Parks Commercial Platforms.

Work independently and in partnership with commercial teams to understand current business systems and illustrate the future state system.

Drive requirement-gathering meetings with cross-functional teams and maintain consistent communication with peers and leadership.

Facilitate sessions to determine the feasibility of specific requirements, analyzing the impact on existing business and technical processes.

Manage Technical discussions to gain alignment, and act as a gatekeeper & negotiator with our Business & product partners.

Drive capability roadmap, dedicated to a squad/team

Analyze data to help inform product decision

Proactively communicate squad/team status, issues, and risks to leadership.

Document application behavior and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Engineer, or Engineering Manager working with user interfaces, web services, databases, and cloud infrastructure projects.

Strong technical knowledge with experience leading technical initiatives that span several teams and functional areas.

Advanced at writing business & functional requirements.

Experienced level in Microsoft Office Applications Advanced knowledge and ability to use collaboration tools such as; Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence Excellent written and oral communication skills
