Work you'll do
As a Senior Product Specialist on the Government & Public Services (GPS) Industry Solutions team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end requirements gathering and business analysis for health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans
- Translating client needs into business requirements, end-to-end process maps, and configuration-ready functional specifications
- Defining and documenting eligibility rules, enrollment logic, Qualified Life Events (QLEs), and payroll deduction rules for system configuration
- Designing future-state workflows aligned to BenefitsIQ product capabilities to support standardization and reduce customizations
- Collaborating with product, UI/UX, and technology teams to align screen behavior, rules-engine logic, and integration requirements
- Validating configurations through test scenarios, reconciliation activities, and issue resolution related to enrollment, payroll, and carrier outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of experience delivering health and welfare benefits plans in roles such as product management, benefits operations, benefits administration, or business analysis
- 3+ years of experience with benefits platforms such as Workday, SAP, or ADP
- 2+ years of experience creating current-state and future-state business process maps
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government benefits products
- Experience supporting large employer benefits environments
- Experience with Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB), and Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance
