Core Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to evaluate historical performance and support forward-looking analysis.
- Deliver clear, data-driven insights to support business decisions.
- Support the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Monitor performance against plans and highlight key variances.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership to inform investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools.
- Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, automation).
- Experience with SQL and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management).
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot) is an asset.
- Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Ability to effectively present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- CPA/CFA or other relevant professional certifications are considered an asset.
