Business Analyst
Indexed description
Every day, we help our customers send, receive, and grow — with care, precision, and reliability. Our people are at the heart of everything we do: caring, open, and driven to deliver experiences that feel personal and effortless.
At Omniva, every delivery carries possibility — and every team member helps make that happen.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Data & Reporting team. The purpose of this role is to own new, existing, recurring and standardized reporting. Focus on what is happening, whether the data is correct and whether reports are working and are usable by the business.
This is an opportunity to be part of Omniva’s transformation, helping shape the future of logistics and technology across the Baltics and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Own the business-side operation of new (less time critical), existing, recurring and standardized reports and dashboards for service, client, destination market/country and domestic vs international performance visibility
- Ensure recurring reports and dashboards are refreshed, working, usable, documented and validated from a business perspective
- Validate data accuracy and standard KPI outputs, including shipment volume, revenue, revenue per shipment, growth/decline, margin and profitability where data is available
- Run standard comparisons such as last month vs previous month, last quarter vs previous quarter and year-over-year, and flag relevant changes or anomalies
- Maintain and communicate KPI definitions, filters, dimensions, data sources, refresh schedules, known limitations and open reporting issues
- Collect recurring reporting needs from business users and convert them into clear Jira tasks, business logic and acceptance criteria for Data Analysts
- Test and validate reports, dashboard changes and fixes delivered by Data Analysts before they are communicated as ready for business use
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with statistical tools and programming languages (Python, R) is a plus
- Knowledge of international logistics and supply chain data is advantageous
- Excellent English language skills
We care — about our people, our customers, and the world we connect.
We are open — to new ideas, innovation, and learning from each other.
We are trustworthy — we do what we promise and take pride in getting it right.
And we enjoy our work — celebrating progress, teamwork, and shared achievements.
You’ll also benefit from:
- A meaningful role in a growing, technology-driven logistics company
- Hybrid work model with office in Kaunas (Aviacijos str. 6, Karmelava) or Vilnius (Savanorių pr. 5) and flexible environment
- Health insurance and sports compensation
- Five additional vacation days after two years
- Opportunities for personal and professional growth
At Omniva, we believe in fair and transparent compensation that reflects your contribution and supports your growth.
