KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the identification of operational objectives by analysing business functions, gathering stakeholder requirements, and defining output formats and system deliverables.
- Drive the planning, design, and implementation of scalable business, financial, and operational systems to support core organisational processes.
- Own and produce high-quality documentation including FRS, SRS, user stories, and product backlog, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with business and technical needs.
- Lead requirement analysis and conduct detailed impact assessments for all Change Requests, providing recommendations and solution options.
- Oversee the preparation of user manuals and training materials to support system adoption and user enablement.
- Ensure end-to-end documentation governance, maintaining all system development artefacts in compliance with company standards and best practices.
- Proactively analyse and improve existing systems and processes by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements (including automation and digitalisation opportunities).
- Provide structured weekly reporting on project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and management.
- Continuously enhance knowledge in business analysis, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and drive the adoption of best practices within the team.
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, ensuring quality of deliverables and consistency in analysis standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in Business Analysis, with strong exposure in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements for business process management, workflows, and system implementations
- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end requirement lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, documentation, validation, and delivery support
- Experience in procurement systems or related platforms is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels; fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken)
