About The Job

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving business analysis activities across enterprise insurance applications by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. You will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, development teams, and QA teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills, hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, and the ability to independently manage requirement analysis, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work on project implementations using Agile (Scrum) methodologies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by collaborating with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Design Documents, Data Mapping Documents, and Process/Data Flow Diagrams.
• Create and maintain User Stories, Product Backlogs, Sprint Backlogs, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Development and QA teams to ensure all business requirements are accurately implemented.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify business gaps and recommend appropriate solutions or workarounds.
• Support requirement clarification throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilise tools such as SQL Server, .NET applications, ServiceNow, and Quality Center to support project delivery.
• Track project progress and prepare weekly and monthly status reports for project stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure timely delivery of business analysis activities while maintaining high-quality documentation.

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to Data Analysis activities.
• Hands-on experience working on Agile/Scrum-based software development projects.
• Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, .NET applications, ServiceNow, and Quality Center.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience creating User Stories, BRDs, FRDs, Data Mapping Documents, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Development, QA, and Business teams.

• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Experience working with Customer Information Management (CIM) applications.
• Exposure to Cyber Insurance products.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
