Business Analyst / Senior SME (Core Banking - Casa / Common SME)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SME (Core Banking – CASA/Common SME) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing overall project progress. The SME role supports the organization’s project portfolio by ensuring governance, consistency, and efficiency in project execution. This position provides oversight, reporting, and guidance to project teams while aligning initiatives with strategic objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams including vendors and clients.

The SME will help establish the foundation for successful execution of the full transformation program.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing for CASA/Common domain for design/development/testing
• Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams
• Support developing and maintain project plans, dashboards, and milestone trackers
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops with customers and vendors
• Track and report progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Assist in resource planning and budget forecasting
• Maintain alignment with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements
• Support change management and communication efforts

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in SME, BA, Integration Architect in CASA/Common
• Must have in-depth experience in leading core banking or financial services transformation projects
• Experienced in leading large-scale transformations as SME
• Experienced in Flexcube solution of Oracle would be great advantage
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must have strong Corporate banking domain knowledge in Lending
• Efficient communication internally and externally with all stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Be able to confidently work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment
• Experience with vendor coordination and SOW management

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience, or combination
