BrSE - Open to deal

Job Description

Our client, a Japanese IT company located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, is looking for a BrSE

to bridge communication between Japanese clients and the development team. The successful

candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, coordinating

with the Software Development team, managing the software development process, and ensuring

successful project delivery.

Requirements Elicitation & Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, define, and document their needs
• and objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify gaps and
• opportunities for improvement.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional
• specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions.

Documentation & Communication

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including Business Requirements
• Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and other relevant
• artifacts.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders and
• vice versa.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and
• understanding throughout the project lifecycle.

Solution Design & Technical Understanding

• Possess a solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile,
• Scrum).
• Contribute to the design of scalable and efficient software solutions, considering
• technical feasibility and business impact.
• Leverage your AWS experience to understand and articulate requirements related to
• cloud-based solutions, infrastructure, and services.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide input on solution architecture from a
• requirements perspective.

Testing & Quality Assurance Support

• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test cases accurately reflect business requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying requirements and assisting with
• issue resolution.

Project Support

• Assist project managers in scope definition, effort estimation, and risk identification.
• Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or roadblocks related to requirements.

Qualifications

1. Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a
• related field.

2. Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development (e.g., as a Software
• Engineer, Developer).
• 3 years of dedicated experience as a Business Requirements System Engineer (BRSE) or
• similar role (e.g., Business Analyst, Systems Analyst) focusing on requirements gathering
• and analysis.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud AWS/GCP/Azure.

3. Essential Soft Skills

• Strong Japanese language skills (N2+ or higher) are essential. English proficiency is a
• plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
• Understanding database concepts and SQL.
• Basic understanding of API integrations and web services.
