The IT Business Analyst is responsible for implementing and continuously improving business processes and performance for products and projects as assigned. Proactively work with stakeholders to define, analyze and document requirements for developments, enhancements as well as identify opportunities for new or improved processes. Depending on scope, can assume project management and business analyst roles on project engagements as needed, as agreed upon with the IT Team Leader.


Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Supervisor(s) and PO/PM if required.
  • Responsible for closely working with clients/PO to clarify, analyze the business requirement;
  • Get/research concept, business objective to provide the effective solutions for the products/projects.
  • Use UML to model the defined features, use cases, system workflow and other necessary diagrams.
  • Design the application mock-up/wireframe.
  • In charge of documents writing of User Requirement Specification, Functional Specification, etc.,
  • Define the quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints and other nonfunctional requirements.
  • Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for the development team whenever requirements need to be clarified.
  • Support in testing, verifying bugs/issues of the products/projects
  • Provide the application manual user and train staff in how to use the new application.


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in BA role of enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of software development process, especially software requirement analysis.
  • Good command of English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
  • Good UI/UX knowledge and experience
  • Good presentation and client relationship skill
  • Good organizational, analytical, as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in the UML design and data modeling.
  • Background technical background knowledge.
  • Excellent using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Be proactive, initiative, flexible, conscientious, responsible, honest and prudent.
  • Hard-working and ready to work in a pressure environment to meet the timeline.
  • Education: Bachelor of Software Engineering or Information System.
  • Overseas education is a big plus.
