Business Analyst - Job Description

Key Responsibility

• Work closely with clients to gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product vision, priorities, and backlog items.
• Analyze business processes and propose practical solutions to meet business needs.
• Prepare and maintain requirement documents (BRD, SRS, Use Cases, User Stories, Functional Specifications).
• Identify functional and non-functional requirements with guidance when needed.
• Work closely with Developers and QA/QC to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
• Support UAT, issue clarification, and requirement validation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quickly acquire domain knowledge to understand business contexts and user needs.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and requirement refinement activities.
• Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Notion AI) to improve productivity in documentation, meeting summaries, requirement analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Apply an AI-first mindset to continuously improve work efficiency and deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualification Requirements

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working directly with customers and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with requirement modeling and documentation tools (Visio, Edraw, Draw.io, etc.).
• Experience creating wireframes or UI prototypes using Figma, Balsamiq, Pencil, or similar tools.
• Good English communication skills for working with international clients.

Priorities (not a must-have)

• Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Digital Transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve analysis and documentation.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integration.

Communication & Meetings

• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Participate in requirement workshops, clarification sessions, sprint ceremonies, and UAT discussions.
• Able to independently facilitate requirement discussions for medium-complexity features.
• Support project communication and follow up on action items with stakeholders.
