A leader in the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry focused on delivering precision parts for highly regulated aerospace platforms. This role offers the chance to join a transformation initiative to modernize ERP processes, improve data integrity, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering functions. The Enterprise Resources Planning Specialist will be instrumental in bridging business operations and technology to enable scalable, compliant manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary ERP subject matter expert and functional lead for manufacturing processes.
- Lead ERP data cleansing, validation, migration, and governance efforts to ensure accurate master data (including BOMs and routings).
- Configure, optimize, and support ERP functionality to align with production planning, inventory management, purchasing, and shop floor control.
- Develop, document, and standardize business processes, workflows, work instructions, and system procedures.
- Create training materials and deliver end-user training and ongoing support across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.
- Act as liaison between business users, IT, project teams, and third-party implementation partners during implementations, UAT, deployments, and post-implementation activities.
- Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to validate ERP data and support business intelligence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment as an SME, Business Systems Analyst, or Functional Lead.
- Hands-on experience with ERP master data management, data migration, validation, and governance (including BOM management).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations: production planning, inventory management, purchasing, routings, quality systems, and shop floor control.
- Proficiency with SQL for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to develop process documentation, user guides, and deliver end-user training to drive adoption.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams and leadership.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or large-scale enterprise data migration projects.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with master data governance frameworks, process standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and enterprise business process optimization.
