You can look forward to
- Analysing and optimising processes within the reinsurance subledger, as well as interfaces to the general ledger and other systems
- Gathering, documenting, and prioritising business and technical requirements in close collaboration with business units and IT
- Designing ledger solutions, data flows, and reporting requirements as part of data and process modeling
- Supporting projects - including in a leading role - related to system implementations, migrations, and the execution of regulatory requirements (e.g. IFRS 17, Solvency II)
- Performing and supporting functional and integration testing, as well as analysing and resolving issues
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Successfully completed degree in (business) mathematics or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience as an actuary, preferably in a reinsurance environment
- Strong expertise in actuarial topics, financial accounting, and regulatory frameworks (in particular IFRS and HGB)
- High affinity for IT and strong analytical mindset, combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex matters in a clear and audience-appropriate way
- A reliable and responsible approach, with the drive to manage and advance topics independently
- Very good German and English language skills
- High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm for actuarial work
