ERP Business Analyst

Position Summary

The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for the developing business intelligence and analytics tools across the organization. The position will work closely with the key stakeholders from the various departments and work closely with them to validate and deploy the tools to users, as well as using the tools developed to provide insight and recommendations based on the analysis conducted. The ERP Business Analyst plays a lead role in driving the culture of data driven decision making and its adoption across the organization .

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Work closely with business leaders to develop and maint ain intelligence and analytics tools & KPI s . Deploy and train business users on the tools.
• Monitor data integrity and in itiate processes to i m prove data harmony across Oliver facilities globally. Lead information management projects to improve accuracy, access, and process efficiency.
• Facilit ate and Drive production operation process. Identi fy areas of risk that need increased visibility and develop process improvements.
• Support the business’ data needs by providing information such as material usage and evaluate labor discrepancies.
• Perform ad-hoc intelligence and data mining requests as needed.
• Collaborate with services and support management to ensure appropriate implementation of processes throughout production processes.
• Investigat es and models business functions, process es, procedures, systems, information flows and data structures using various analysis tools and techniques.

Education

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Fin ance preferred

Experience

• 3+ years’ experience working with database application s, reporting and analysis OR Equivalent Combination of the Education and Experience.

Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to write in a clear and concise manner, etc.
• Ability to communicate with business users a cross the organization.
• Ability to speak effectively , present information, respond to questions in a clear and concise manner, etc .
• Must demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work independently or as member of a team .

Technical Skills

• S trong critical thinking, analytical , and research skills .
• Experience using Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar business intelligence tool .
• Strong Mathematical foundation.
• Expert in Microsoft Office; Excel specifically.
• Deep experience in enterprise and database applications. Report writing know-how is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 10lbs.
