Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst – Healthcare Data Integration you'll support healthcare data integration and interoperability initiatives within the Enterprise Data Office. The role focuses on HL7/FHIR data exchange, regulatory compliance (CMS/ONC), healthcare data analysis, and bridging business and technical teams.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

Duties:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Work on healthcare interoperability standards such as:
• FHIR
• HL7
• CCD
• ADT
• SIU
• Analyze and validate data using SQL and Databricks.
• Create:
• Business requirements documents
• Data mappings (source-to-target)
• Business rules
• Process flows
• Data specifications
• Support testing, QA, and data validation activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with CMS interoperability requirements.
• Provide regular status updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts.
• Drive projects independently with minimal supervision.

Required:

• 5-10 years of Business Analysis, Healthcare IT, or Data Integration experience.
• Strong experience with:
• FHIR
• HL7
• CCD, ADT, SIU
• Healthcare data exchange
• Strong SQL and Databricks skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and provide business recommendations.
