Technical Business Analyst

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

🔹 Core Skills

Strong understanding of Business Analysis methodologies.

Experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing projects.

Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).

🔹 Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.

Understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake).

Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

🔹 Data Skills

Data mapping, lineage, and transformation logic.

Strong grasp of data quality frameworks and data validation.

Experience with data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

🔹 Tools

JIRA / Azure DevOps for tracking

Visio / Lucidchart for data flow diagrams

Excel / Power BI / Tableau for analysis

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

8+ years of experience as a BSA or Business Analyst, with exposure to data engineering projects.
