Business Intelligence Engineer (M/F)- Geneva

Main responsibilities:

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will support business units in analysing their reporting and data utilisation needs in order to aid decision-making. You will design, develop and maintain dashboards and Business Intelligence solutions, whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s data strategy.

You will be part of a dynamic and expert team, where you will be encouraged to put forward innovative ideas, develop new concepts and play an active role in strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into relevant reporting solutions.

Recommend improvements to optimise Business Intelligence processes and tools.

Help define the product vision and data strategy.

Monitor, control and troubleshoot daily data processing operations.

Support strategic projects in your capacity as a Business Intelligence specialist.

Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of the data made available to users.

Draft and maintain technical and functional documentation for BI processes.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet users’ needs.

Education:

Higher education qualification (university or university of applied sciences) in:

Computer Science, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or an equivalent field.

Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence.

Experience in the banking or financial sector would be an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft BI technologies:

SQL Server (T-SQL)

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Power BI

A good understanding of decision-making architectures, data flows and analytical models is required.

Fluent English & Portuguese(essential).

Fluency in French or German is an asset, depending on the company’s context.
