As an Experience Design Senior Associate in Private Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. Seeking a UX Designer focused primarily on internal digital marketing applications that enable teams to plan, create, publish, and optimize content and campaigns. In addition, you will support design innovation for the Private Bank public website, helping evolve new experiences, templates, and interaction patterns that keep the site modern, consistent, and brand-right.
Job responsibilities
• Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices
• Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction
• Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users
• Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking
• Lead UX design for internal digital marketing applications, translating stakeholder needs into end-to-end experiences (workflows, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs).
• Simplify complex internal workflows (e.g., campaign intake, content authoring, approvals, publishing, QA, and measurement) by identifying pain points and designing elegant, scalable solutions.
• Design and deliver user journeys, reusable UX patterns/components, and high-fidelity mockups optimized for usability and consistency across tools and teams.
• Leverage new AI technologies to accelerate discovery and delivery (e.g., rapid prototyping, concept exploration, summarizing insights, generating variations for testing), while maintaining strong quality, governance, and user-centric decision-making.
• Collaborate with Engineering and platform product owners to ensure designs are feasible, accessible, and implemented with quality and support design QA through delivery. Support multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing work based on impact, effort, ROI, and business value.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
• 3+ years in a user experience design or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and services
• Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
• Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-making
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
• Strong foundation in user-centered design, including research synthesis, usability testing, heuristic analysis, rapid prototyping, and accessibility considerations.
• Excellent communication skills-able to explain design rationale, align stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering, Content, Analytics).
• Strong visual design instincts (layout, hierarchy, typography) and ability to design within established brand systems.
• Proficiency with design tools including Figma (and familiarity with Adobe tools).
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and drive clarity from ambiguous requirements.
• Working knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility best practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
• Experience designing for or partnering closely with content management systems; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred.
• Understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS) and component-based implementation.
• Familiarity with analytics-informed design and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing) to measure and improve outcomes.
• Familiarity and application with ADA/Accessibility standards
• Experience contributing to or governing design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted design/research workflows to increase speed and quality (within organizational policies and controls).
