Workday Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Workday Business Analyst to join a large-scale global Workday Transformation Programme. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyse, optimize and standardize HR processes across the Workday platform, driving business transformation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Hands-on experience working on Workday implementation or transformation projects
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM and HR business processes
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements
• Proven experience in process analysis, process mapping and process improvement
• Ability to document current and future state processes, user stories and functional requirements
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of one or more Workday functional areas, including:
• Core HCM
• Absence Management
• Recruitment
• Talent
• Benefits
• Advanced Compensation
• Reporting & Analytics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work within UK or European time zones
• English level C1 or higher

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing Workday processes, configurations and operating model
• Define and document future-state business processes aligned with business objectives
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce complexity and increase adoption of Workday capabilities
• Support process optimisation initiatives across multiple HR functional areas
• Assess existing and unused Workday functionality and recommend improvement opportunities
• Produce business requirements, process maps, user stories and functional documentation
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of business solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the global Workday programme
