Senior Business Analyst

Client is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to support IT initiatives by analysing business needs, improving operational processes, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational objectives. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving process improvements and successful technology implementations.

This is Hybrid role, and needs locals or nearby to Lexington, KY

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Evaluate and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for developers, system administrators, and vendors.
• Support project teams through requirements validation, testing, change management, and solution implementation.
• Perform workflow analysis, data validation, and root cause analysis for business and system issues.
• Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, system documentation, and user guides.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, standards, and strategic goals.
• Evaluate technology solutions and recommend process and operational improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering business process improvement, workflow modeling, and testing methodologies.
• Experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, and business documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
