Customer Fulfillment Analyst
Job Summary
This critical customer facing position ensures the visibility of customer order demand and forecasts to the production teams. Fulfillment of those orders by coordinating and monitoring the schedules between production and the customers. This role is also responsible for guiding and training teammates in the day-to-day activities of order management, SAP and department processes. It is essential for the Customer Fulfillment Analyst (CFA) to maintain good relationships with the other departments within the company.
Essential Functions
- Direct contact with the customer.
- Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to analyze demand vs. inventory on hand and production schedules to determine if there will by any short shipments or expedites required.
- Work together with production teams and outside supplier planners in formulating a plan to provide on-time and in-full shipping to customers. Planner functions – FCA backs up as needed
- Escalate to business partners if any issues arise in meeting customer demand.
- Review, approve and release incoming EDIs, spot buy shipping releases and manual orders.
- Access and Respond to Customer Portals/Websites.
- Update SAP system to show all of the correct information (e.g. dates & demands in SAP for MRP team).
- Monitoring of customer ratings/scorecards, communicate and challenge as necessary.
- Controlling team KPIs and initiate actions accordingly.
- Responsibility for adherence to deadlines, quality and costs within the objectives and budget.
- Claim processing and determination of corrective measures.
- Visualization of group results and targets.
- Assist in creating work instructions and process documentations as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Utilize company tools/software to facilitate role
- Associates degree, or five years of experience in a manufacturing environment fulfillment or analyst role.
- Familiarity with 5-Whys and Fishbone diagram methods of problem solving.
- Good written communication and telephone skills.
- Computer (MS Office) and SAP experience is required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in high stress situations.
- Must have a leadership mentality with a structured approach to problem solving.
- The ability to make discretionary and independent decisions that support the customer and protect the Company at the same time.
