Responsibilities and Duties
NetSuite Operations & Supply Chain Administration
- Own NetSuite functional areas supporting Manufacturing, Warehouse Management (WMS), Supply Chain, Logistics, Serialization, Ship Central, and related operational workflows.
- Serve as the primary NetSuite subject matter expert for Operations, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize inventory management, fulfillment, and operational workflows within NetSuite.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain leadership to design, enhance, and continuously improve NetSuite MRP functionality for domestic and international operations.
- Support end-to-end operational execution by ensuring system processes align with real-world manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics needs.
- Manage full system lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Identify and assess upstream and downstream impacts of NetSuite customizations, workflows, and new functionality.
- Support NetSuite release updates, including regression testing and validation of critical operational processes.
- Ensure system changes are properly documented, tested, and deployed with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operational systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Identify process gaps and recommend system enhancements to support global growth and operational maturity.
- Collaborate with business leaders to streamline workflows across manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics functions.
- Support standardization of operational processes across regions and business units.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and system knowledge base articles.
- Train end users on NetSuite functionality, operational workflows, and best practices.
- Support onboarding of new users within Operations, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
- Promote user adoption and system consistency through ongoing education and documentation.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, fixes, and new functionality.
- Validate system changes to ensure accuracy in inventory, order processing, and fulfillment workflows.
- Document test cases, results, and issue resolutions to ensure system reliability and audit readiness.
- Support structured change management practices to ensure smooth system adoption.
- Develop and maintain a robust library of NetSuite reports, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics datasets, and workbooks to support operational and strategic reporting needs.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reporting, analytics, and KPIs.
- Design and support dashboards and reporting tools that enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain operations.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance standards are maintained across all operational and supply chain datasets.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, working cross-functionally to improve accuracy of reporting inputs and system outputs.
- Support the development of scalable reporting structures that evolve with business growth and global expansion.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and IT teams to support business-critical processes.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and technology partners to resolve integration and system-related issues.
- Translate business requirements into clear system solutions and communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure NetSuite effectively supports operational goals and global scaling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of relevant experience in ERP administration, supply chain systems, or enterprise application support will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting NetSuite ERP in a complex operational environment.
- 2+ years of experience supporting NetSuite MRP, Manufacturing, and production workflows.
- 2+ years of experience with NetSuite Warehouse Management System (WMS) and fulfillment operations.
- Experience with NetSuite Mobile Manufacturing and operational execution tools preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite Ship Central or similar shipping and fulfillment solutions.
- Experience managing EDI transactions and supporting customer and 3PL integrations.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or consumer products environments strongly preferred.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments supporting Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, or Sales teams.
- Experience supporting ERP users through troubleshooting, system support, and issue resolution.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite ERP, including operational modules such as WMS, MRP, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
- Working knowledge of SuiteFlow and foundational SuiteScript (SuiteScript 2.x preferred).
- Experience supporting or monitoring integrations using Celigo or similar iPaaS tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, etc.).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, lookups, reporting, and operational modeling.
- Familiarity with EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 846) and order-to-cash workflows.
- Understanding of APIs, data formats (CSV, XML, JSON), and system-to-system data flows.
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI tracking (NetSuite SuiteAnalytics, Excel, or BI tools).
- Familiarity with ticketing/support systems such as Jira, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system and integration issues.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Customer-service mindset with ownership, urgency, and accountability in resolving issues.
- Proven ability to create SOPs, training materials, and system documentation to support user adoption.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset with interest in optimizing systems, processes, and workflows.
- Experience in NetSuite, Shopify, and/or ecommerce or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
