We are partnering with a leading global quantitative trading firm to hire a Business Operation Analyst for their Singapore office.
With a strong international presence and multi-asset strategy, the firm is known for its technology-driven trading environment, collaborative culture, and sophisticated approach to global markets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize day-to-day business operations, identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct market, industry, and business research to identify new growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze business performance and provide insights to senior management through data-driven research and presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with exchanges, vendors, and external business partners.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects that enhance business operations and support the firm's continued growth.
- Drive process improvements by leveraging analytical thinking and automation to scale business operations.
- Represent the firm professionally when engaging with external stakeholders and industry partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another analytical discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in Business Strategy, Business Operations, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Consulting, Financial Services, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across internal teams and external business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis, automation, or visualization tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with exchanges, financial market infrastructure, vendors, or technology partners is advantageous but not essential.
