We are currently seeking for experienced & ambitious team players to become part of our dynamic IT team within our Internal Services department in Thessaloniki, working directly with Deloitte Switzerland.

As a Product Owner, you will:


  • translate product strategy into actionable work items, managing the product backlog at sprint level, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality features.
  • focus on sprint execution (2-week cycles), issue resolution, change request management, and operational excellence for multiple products.
  • serve as the primary interface between the teams, customers, and product leadership, ensuring continuous delivery of value while maintaining system reliability and compliance with ITIL/ISO 20000 service management standards.
  • maintain strong technical engagement to understand implementation details, technical constraints, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement at the sprint and operational levels.
  • work collaboratively with the PM throughout the full PI/Sprint cycle to ensure proper backlog management, tracking, and prioritization aligned with company needs and strategic objectives.


#KeyResponsibilities


  • Backlog & Prioritization: Define and maintain the product backlog with clear, prioritized items aligned with product strategy - Write features and detailed acceptance criteria that enable to deliver quality work.
  • Stakeholder Management: Prioritize features for sprint cycles based on business value, technical dependencies, and customer impact (shared with PM) - Manage technical debt prioritization to balance feature delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement & Service Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives at sprint and operational levels aligned with ITIL/ISO 20000 standards - Identify and implement process improvements based on sprint retrospectives and incident reviews.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Lead incident response activities and coordinate resolution efforts - Assess severity and prioritize incidents based on business impact - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on critical incidents to prevent recurrence
  • Operational Excellence & Service Management: Monitor system performance and uptime to ensure product reliability - Manage production environment to ensure stability and performance.
  • Release & Deployment Management: Plan and coordinate releases to ensure smooth deployment and quality assurance.
  • Team Collaboration & Governance: Run the daily standups to provide clarity, remove blockers, and track progress - Participate in sprint planning to align team capacity with product priorities and technical constraints
  • Custom: Product specifications are documented and maintained


#RequiredSkills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of product ownership, product management, or Agile delivery experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on technical experience (software development, QA, technical support, or technical product management)
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features at sprint level (Backlog tracking, metrics analysis, health monitoring, documentation, governance)
  • Strong understanding of SAFe or Agile frameworks and ceremonies
  • Experience with incident management and operational support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities (Quick decision-making, prioritization, trade-off analysis, technical trade-off evaluation)
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ISO 20000 service management frameworks
  • Leadership/Customer Focus: Customer issue resolution, feedback management, customer advocacy, usability assessment
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of software architecture, scalability, technical debt, API design, system integration - Deep and broad knowledge in the field of M365 and all related products.
  • Collaboration: Agile ceremonies, team communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, technical discussions
  • Issue & Change Management: ITIL change management, issue tracking, impact assessment, risk evaluation
