Retail Functional Analyst Level 2

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements and user stories
- Drive the implementation of new solutions, enhancements, and system improvements
- Serve as the liaison between business users and IT teams throughout project delivery
- Support retail applications, integrations, and transaction-based systems
- Troubleshoot issues impacting sales, order processing, and customer-facing operations
- Coordinate testing activities, including UAT and integration testing
- Provide functional expertise during projects, releases, and production support
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical retail systems
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Previous experience in a large enterprise retail environment
- Experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements
- Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Experience driving projects or system enhancements from requirements through implementation
- Experience supporting retail business operations and retail technology solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications and system integrations
- Understanding of application development lifecycles and software delivery processes
- Experience with functional specifications, user stories, testing, and implementation activities
- Ability to troubleshoot system transactions and identify root causes of production issues
- Comfortable working with technical teams, data flows, interfaces, and system dependencies
- Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a production environment
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Experience with retail systems such as order management, POS, merchandising, inventory, or fulfillment platforms
- Experience participating in production support or on-call rotations
