The position

As the Forecasting Manager, you will be the principal expert and owner of patient-based forecasting within the Commercial Excellence team. You will drive the design, update, and implementation of robust patient models to support multiple Therapeutical Areas, indications and markets.


This position is pivotal to ensuring evidence-based decision-making, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling robust commercial growth for our products. You will collaborate cross-functionally with local and global teams, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver timely, accurate, and transparent forecasts that translate market insights into actionable demand, unit, and revenue projections.


Location: Hørsholm (Denmark)



Your primary tasks will be:


  • Patient Model Ownership & Development: Run, maintain, and enhance forecasting model, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Develop and update rolling patient and demand/unit forecasts integrated into the S&OP, Budget, and Strategic Planning processes.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop dashboards and presentations to communicate key insights to senior leadership.
  • Provide business partners with forecast insights to support portfolio planning, brand strategy, supply planning, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with affiliates and cross-functional teams (Commercial, Finance, IT) during the Annual and Strategic Business Planning process to ensure alignment and data-driven decision-making.


Your profile


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, business analytics, or a similar role within a global organization, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in forecasting, commercial excellence, or business analytics.
  • Experience in data analysis and commercial strategy development.
  • Experience in automation of data processes.
  • Experience in collecting, analysing, and interpreting business data to use in reports.


Competence Skills:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with sound business acumen
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across global cross-functional teams
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making in complex environments
  • Skilled in project management and stakeholder alignment
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, QlikSense, Python/R)
  • Familiarity with SAP BI and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level)
