Position: Senior Systems Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC, 5 days a week onsite
Salary: 100-110K
Position Overview:
Seeking a dynamic Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to play a critical role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives across our enterprise systems. This role serves as a strategic liaison between IT and business stakeholders to analyze and improve processes, define requirements, and guide system implementations—particularly those integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Salesforce platforms. As a Lead BSA, you’ll take ownership of requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and systems integration initiatives. You’ll lead small to mid-sized projects, contribute to larger enterprise projects, and collaborate cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT to understand processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions.
- Lead end-to-end business process reviews to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, use-case creation, and documentation of business and system requirements.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for application development and system integration.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support solution design, testing, and validation activities.
- Support change management, user training, and deployment strategies to ensure successful adoption.
Project Leadership
- Lead small to medium-scale projects independently; contribute to larger projects under program managers.
- Track and manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure thorough documentation of project activities and changes throughout the lifecycle.
Systems Integration & Support
- Support and enhance integrations between internal systems and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O), Salesforce, and other applications across the company.
- Identify and support automation opportunities across applications and business processes.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
Documentation & Communication
- Develop business process documentation, user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, leadership, vendors, and consultants.
