- General Business Analyst (:40%) – The Specialist is responsible for gathering and documenting business processes, as well as defining requirements across a variety of systems. They design and implement solutions where appropriate and collaborate with external vendors when needed. The role includes supporting requirements, analysis, and implementation for platforms such as eSignature solutions, Salesforce, and other SaaS applications.
- SmartSheet (:25%): This includes requirements gathering, solution development, documentation, and production support. The Specialist works closely with the lead SmartSheet architect to ensure implementations are secure, scalable, and resilient.
- Systems Admin and Support (:20%): The Specialist serves as the primary administrator and support contact for various systems, including eSignature and accounting platforms. They may also provide supplemental infrastructure support on an as-needed basis when the primary support team requires assistance or is unavailable.
- Technology strategy and exploration (:15%): The Specialist contributes to evaluating and advancing emerging technologies, including Generative AI, business process automation, and predictive analytics. This may involve leading initiatives or partnering with consultants and subject matter experts to design and implement innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Support Senior SmartSheet Admin as they architect and guide system-wide changes and customizations for improved effectiveness and constituent engagement
- Conduct hands-on implementations when necessary
- Document key systems processes and solutions
- Manage user access on key business systems, identify, define, and implement systems-based solutions to business needs
- Elicit and capture requirements and process flows for various business areas in support of technology implementations and process improvements
- Understand and create documentation of Habitat Charlotte business practices and constituency across numerous systems
- Experience with a wide variety of software packages and no-code/low-code tools such as SQL, MS Power Tools, etc; ability and desire to learn new technology and software on the fly
- Familiarity with IT best practices around systems design, coding, and releases
- Highly process focused, able to identify, elicit, and document business and systems processes
- Communication skills and experience interacting with multiple constituencies
- Flexible and responsive to accommodate changes, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, learning, accuracy, initiative, and critical thinking
- Ability & maturity to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- College degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Prior experience with SmartSheet, Salesforce, and/or other coding languages
