Safety Professional Business Analyst

Optomi, in partnership with leading telecommunications company, is looking for a Safety Professional Business Analyst.

Optomi is seeking a Safety Professional Business Analyst to design and implement a new Safety Management System (SMS) module within an existing system. The role involves digitizing and transforming current construction safety workflows into a structured software solution. This individual will act as the bridge between construction safety professionals, business stakeholders, software development teams, and existing platform capabilities.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:

• 3–5+ years experience in safety operations and business analysis
• Experience in requirements gathering and process mapping
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and vendor management

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Partner with construction safety leaders to understand current processes and document workflows
• Gather and document business requirements, create functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams
• Collaborate with system design and development teams to understand existing platform capabilities and identify customization needs
• Support program management by tracking requirements, decisions, changes, and priorities across teams
