The OSP Controls & Governance team is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support and enhance our Sitetracker environment, the project management platform used across both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) operations. This role acts as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that Sitetracker and its underlying Salesforce platform are optimized to support the complex requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects.
The BSA will play a key role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that drive efficiency, consistency, and governance for the team. You will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that system configurations, integrations, and workflows meet operational needs and align with governance standards.
As the Business Systems Analyst, you will have a direct impact on how OSP and ISP projects are planned, managed, and delivered. By aligning Sitetracker functionality with business processes, you will drive efficiency, improve data accuracy, and enable better decision-making across the organization. Your contributions will enhance the reliability and scalability of project delivery, supporting both operational teams and executive leadership.
This position requires both technical expertise and business acumen. The BSA will operate independently on key initiatives, while also collaborating closely with project managers, governance leaders, and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to project management processes in Sitetracker.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and system configurations.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and project teams to design, test, and implement solutions in Sitetracker/Salesforce.
- Maintain system integrity by monitoring data quality, workflows, and integrations, resolving issues proactively.
- Support ongoing enhancements by identifying opportunities for process automation, improved reporting, and system optimization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Sitetracker functionality, providing guidance, training, and documentation to end users.
- Develop and maintain governance documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Partner with OSP and ISP Controls & Governance leadership to prioritize the systems roadmap and ensure alignment with broader strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role (5+ years of experience), with a focus on Salesforce-based platforms.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, workflows, and reporting (required).
- Experience with Sitetracker is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and telecom/infrastructure operations as a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to own an intended result, and communicate in and across teams
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail in managing day to day tasks and execution.
- Proactive problem-solver who tackles challenges head-on, thrives in ambiguity, and confidently drives progress in uncertain areas with moderate supervision and guidance.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite products.
- Travel as required (Less than 10% estimated) for critical meetings.
- Approved to work in the United States.
