Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst with an accounting and finance background to support our clients by analyzing, designing, and improving financial and accounting processes within ERP environments.

In this role, you will work closely with finance, accounting, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of ERP-based solutions.

You will act as a bridge between accounting users and technical teams, ensuring that solutions align with financial controls, reporting needs, compliance requirements, and business objectives. The role involves both proactive work—such as identifying process improvement opportunities—and reactive support, including issue analysis, data validation, reconciliations, and solution implementation.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in client-facing environments, with solid accounting knowledge and strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Analyze end-to end accounting and financial processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support ERP implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives related to finance and accounting modules.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements, workflows, user stories, and process documentation.
• Support processes related to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure ERP solutions align with accounting principles, internal controls, business objectives, and operational needs.
• Support data validation, financial reporting, reconciliations, and issue analysis within ERP systems.
• Work closely with technical and IT teams to validate requirements, configurations, integrations, and system solutions.
• Participate in testing activities to ensure accounting scenarios and business requirements are correctly implemented.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation to facilitate adoption of ERP financial solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Stay up to date with best practices related to business analysis, ERP systems, accounting processes, and financial operations.

Must Have

• Experience in business analysis, accounting, finance operations, process improvement, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably in finance or accounting modules.
• Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, support, or optimization projects.
• 2+ years of experience in client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate financial data accurately.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with project management, task management, or ticketing tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Finance preferred; Business Administration or related fields considered.
• Availability to travel up to 30%.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of application.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IFS or other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, tax-related processes, or local accounting regulations.
• Experience working with clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Service Sector, Construction & Engineering, Shipping & Harbor Services, Aviation, or Defense.
• Experience supporting month-end closing, financial integrations, reporting automation, or master data validation.
