IT & Business Systems Specialist

We're partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an IT & Business Systems Specialist who enjoys improving systems, supporting users and using technology to help organisations work more efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. You'll play a key role in supporting business-critical systems, developing reporting solutions, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to identify smarter ways of working.

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have worked in housing, property, local authorities, public sector, utilities, healthcare or other regulated environments, where business systems play a critical role in day-to-day operations.

The role

You'll work across a broad range of responsibilities including:

• Supporting and administering key business applications
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and management reporting
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify system improvements
• Providing day-to-day systems support and troubleshooting
• Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and digital transformation projects
• Ensuring data quality, governance and reporting accuracy
• Delivering user training and promoting system adoption
• Working closely with third-party software providers where required

We're looking for someone with experience in:

✔ Power BI dashboard development and reporting

✔ Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central or similar business systems

✔ Business systems support and administration

✔ SQL and advanced Excel

✔ Microsoft 365

✔ Gathering business requirements and translating them into practical solutions

✔ Working directly with stakeholders across different business functions

✔ Continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives

It would be particularly advantageous if you have experience in:

• Approved Housing Bodies
• Local Authorities
• Property Management
• Social Housing
• Asset Management
• Facilities Management
• Utilities
• Other highly regulated organisations

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships with users and continuously improving how systems support the wider business.
