Role Overview

Albany Beck is looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Workflow and Technology Implementation Lead to join us and work onsite with a leading financial services organisation in Dublin. The role will support the automation of the Fund of Funds process for one of the organisation’s largest regional clients. The underlying technology has already been implemented, so the primary focus will be on reviewing and refining the associated operational workflows, improving adoption and driving the implementation through to successful completion. The successful candidate will take ownership of the new operational process, coordinating across business, operations and technology teams to ensure it is effectively embedded.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, map and document the existing end-to-end Fund of Funds workflows.
• Review how the current technology and internal applications are being used.
• Gather and validate business and operational requirements.
• Assess whether the existing technology meets business needs.
• Identify process, technology and adoption gaps.
• Recommend improvements to workflows and operating processes.
• Own and coordinate the implementation and rollout of the new process.
• Coordinate activities across Operations, Technology and other relevant departments.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the implementation.
• Develop or coordinate user training, process documentation and supporting materials.
• Support user adoption and ensure teams are comfortable using the new process.
• Track implementation actions, risks, dependencies and outstanding decisions.
• Ensure the process is successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.

Technology Environment

The role will involve working with:

• Canoe Intelligence, which is used to extract, digitise and structure information contained within PDF documents.
• Internal workflow applications built around the Fund of Funds process.
• Applications operating in a similar way to Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

Deep technical development experience is not required. The successful candidate must, however, be comfortable reviewing how technology supports an operational process and working closely with technical teams to resolve gaps.

Required Experience

• Strong experience working as a Business Analyst, Implementation Lead or Process Analyst.
• Demonstrable workflow analysis, process mapping and process design experience.
• Experience supporting technology or operational process implementations.
• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.
• Experience coordinating implementation and rollout activities.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, operations and technology teams.
• Experience supporting user adoption, training and operational readiness.
• Ability to take ownership of an implementation and drive activities through to completion.
• Strong communication, organisation and documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

• Fund administration, asset management or investment operations experience.
• Understanding of Fund of Funds processes.
• Experience working with alternative investment data.
• Exposure to Canoe Intelligence or similar document and data extraction platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or similar workflow applications.
• Experience establishing a new operational process or function.
