The Role:

Seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong security domain experience to lead requirements definition for a Managed SOC procurement. The role will focus on building a comprehensive business and technical requirements catalogue and supporting vendor evaluation and RFP development.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Definition

• Lead detailed business and technical
• requirements capture for a Managed SOC
• Produce structured documentation including:
• Business requirements
• Functional and non-functional requirements
• Service and operating model requirements
• Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and
• signed off by stakeholders

Workshops and Stakeholder Engagement

• Plan and facilitate workshops across Cyber Security, TechOps and other stakeholders
• Drive consensus on requirements, standards, and priorities
• Challenge and refine requirements to avoid ambiguity or scope creep

Vendor Evaluation Support

• Support development of evaluation framework and scoring models
• Analyse vendor responses and map back to requirements
• Identify gaps, risks, and trade offs

RFP Development

• Contribute to creation of the full RFP pack
• Ensure requirements are clearly articulated for vendor response
• Support clarification cycles during procurement

Documentation and Governance

• Maintain requirements traceability and documentation standards
• Support decision logs, evaluation outputs, and audit evidence

Required Experience

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in security or SOC related programmes
• Proven experience leading requirements workshops and documentation
• Experience with RFP processes, vendor evaluation, or procurement support
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience with SIEM, MDR, SOC operations or threat monitoring
• Familiarity with enterprise security tooling landscape
• Experience working in large, complex organisations
