Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to bridge business requirements and technology solutions for lending transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of retail and commercial lending processes, loan origination workflows, regulatory compliance, and digital lending platforms within the Banking/NBFC domain.

Responsibilities:

* Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for Loan Origination System (LOS) enhancements and implementations.

* Conduct stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions with business users, operations, and technology teams.

* Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, Process Flows, and Use Cases.

* Analyze existing lending processes and recommend business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

* Coordinate with development, QA, architects, and product teams throughout the project lifecycle.

* Support solution design by translating business requirements into functional specifications.

* Perform impact analysis for new regulatory, business, and system changes.

* Support SIT, UAT, and production validation by clarifying business requirements and reviewing test scenarios.

* Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, lending policies, KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.

* Facilitate stakeholder sign-offs, requirement traceability, and change management activities.

Essential Skills:

* Strong experience in Loan Origination System (LOS) implementations or enhancements.

* In-depth understanding of Retail Lending, Commercial Lending, or Digital Lending business processes.

* Expertise in requirement elicitation, business process analysis, and documentation.

* Hands-on experience in preparing BRD, FRS, User Stories, Process Flows, Wireframes, and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

* Strong knowledge of loan lifecycle including customer onboarding, KYC, credit appraisal, underwriting, sanction, disbursement, and documentation.

* Experience working with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

* Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent BA tools.

* Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

* Experience with leading LOS platforms such as Newgen, FinnOne, nCino, Finacle LOS, or equivalent lending solutions.

* Exposure to Loan Management Systems (LMS), Core Banking Systems, Digital Banking, and CRM integrations.

* Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end lending ecosystem.

* Understanding of RBI regulations, digital lending guidelines, KYC/AML compliance, and credit bureau integrations.

* Exposure to workflow automation, BPM tools, and process digitization initiatives.

* Experience working on lending transformation or digital modernization programs in Banking or NBFCs.
