Overview:
Sentara Neurology Specialists are seeking to hire a Business Operations Coordinator in Norfolk, Virginia.
Position Hours: 8am-4:30pm, M-F (flexibility required for a monthly meeting)
Overview
This role will support physician hospital org, joint ventures and physical therapy areas with some accounting, reporting, data analysis and special projects. The Business Operations Coordinator works alongside department leadership to provide consultation and education to division leaders and staff regarding policies, procedures, initiatives and programs related to the department's function and areas of responsibility. Participates in planning and implementation of department-initiated programs, including support for ongoing monitoring. Designs and prepares moderate to complex reports and creates presentations in support of department operations or special projects utilizing available business tools such as Microsoft Office applications, report writers, databases, or proprietary and/or commercial information systems.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- None required
- Related experience of 2 years required
- Finance or Accounting or Business background strongly preferred
- Microsoft Office strongly preferred
