We’re seeking an experienced Pensions Administrator to join our Pension Systems Team and deliver exceptional implementation services for new Gallagher clients, as well as transformation projects for existing clients.
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a meaningful impact on the pensions industry through innovative and high-quality projects.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Collaborate with a team of transition consultants to deliver seamless implementation services.
- Act as the Lead Transition Analyst on allocated implementation projects.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure projects progress smoothly and are completed on time.
- Create proprietary benefit specification summaries based on scheme documentation to support calculations and automation.
- Configure automated calculations using Gallagher’s proprietary Excel-based systems for new implementations and transformation projects.
- Develop and execute test packs to ensure the accuracy of automation projects.
- Provide working proformas for classes not included in automated routines.
- Support data services in reviewing data loads and test system enhancements as required.
- Stay up to date with pensions legislation and system functionality.
- Ensure all work is peer-reviewed and adheres to best practices, project assurance criteria, and audit requirements.
- Pensions Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and experience in pensions, including manual calculations, scheme rules and actuarial instructions.
- Background: Experience of working in third party pension administration
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with pension systems, databases, and automation processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Experience working in project teams and following instructions effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) at a competent to advanced level.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
