Job Description

The BA serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, analyze, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, customer experience, and business performance for Knighthead Life. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, evaluating processes, supporting technology initiatives, and ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives and industry regulations. Additionally, this role is responsible for evaluating, monitoring and improving the quality of processes, transactions, customer interactions, and operational activities. This position can be located in the Philadelphia area or remote.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements.
• Document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Create user stories, process flows, use cases, and business requirement documents.
• Support system testing and implementation activities.
• Analyze business processes and work collaboratively across departments.
• Ensure business requirements incorporate applicable regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Support initiatives involving customer onboarding.
• Analyze business and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and operational inefficiencies.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business insights to support decision-making.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure project outcomes.
• Conduct quality reviews and audits of customer interactions, transaction, processes, and operational activities.
• Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement through quality monitoring and analysis.
• Verify compliance with application regulations and internal controls.
• Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of or experience with annuity customer inquiries and requests
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of FAST new business system is a plus.Other administrative systems are also welcomed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, banking, insurance, or a related industry.
