Project Description:
- We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with Buy-Side experience and strong expertise in portfolio management and trading lifecycle. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams, ensuring effective delivery of initiatives in an agile environment.
- BA who is more focused working with Front Office and Portfolio Management Systems from a Portfolio Manager perspective. For example, entering orders to balance or hedge portfolios; life cycle of a variety of asset classes. Role is on-site and 4 days a week in office.
Responsibilities:
- • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- • Engage with portfolio managers, middle office, and trading desks to capture and analyze business needs.
- • Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- • Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog in line with strategic objectives.
- • Support delivery of solutions that strengthen efficiency, transparency, and compliance in collateral processes.
- • Review source-code to validate and/or extract process workflows
- • Track progress, remove blockers, and promote agile best practices.
- • Break down stories into sizable pieces for Sprint length
- • Drive continuous improvement within the team.
- • Stakeholder Management & Delivery
- • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- • Ensure timely delivery of features and initiatives, highlighting risks and dependencies.
- • Communicate status updates and findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Deep buy-side front-office experience, including direct work with Portfolio Managers, portfolio construction and rebalancing, order management, holdings and positions management, and hands-on experience with buy-side OMS/PMS platforms such as Charles River

- o Familiarity with portfolio management systems such as Bloomberg, Charles River, Blackrock Aladin.
- o Agile certification (CSM, PSM).
