Sr Solution Analyst, IT, Enterprise Apps

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales and Logisitics, the Solution Analyst will work to maximize the value of a portfolio of digital products through investment planning, owning solution design on projects and feature enhancements and monitoring the overall portfolio health. The Solution Analyst will collaborate with other members from the IT Enterprise Apps team, the broader IT team, and buseinss stakeholders to deliver solutions that add value for Nutrien.
What You'll Do
- Serve as business facing resource to collaborate on solution components required to meet business objectives
- Act as a liasion between IT, Vendors, and our business partners to uphold a clear understanding of business requirements and to ensure functional deliverables align with the stakeholder needs.
- Own the solution design and work with IT partners to meet business needs.
- Define functional requirements for application development efforts and facilitate definition of project scope, goals and deliverables for application development vendors.
- Oversee and review testing plans and outcomes to validate proposed solutions meet intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change.
- Participate in digital road mapping and investment planning activities.
- 3-5 years of practical experience in application solution design and analysis.
- A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related equivalent.
- Proven capability and experience managing requirements gathering initiatives across multiple teams and business areas.
- Experience in functional solution design and delivery across a software development lifecycle considered an asset.
- Familiarity with AGILE methodologies and design-thinking approach to problem solving.
- Creative solutioning to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue. Ability to influence and negotiate when appropriate
- Willingness to learn, teach and share information with teammates, peers, management and users.
