- Primary Accountability: Ensures the ERP system supports project-centric business processes effectively and operates reliably.
- Analyze business requirements and provide expertise in Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
- Translate project management, resource management, time entry, forecasting, project accounting, billing, and revenue recognition requirements into sustainable system solutions.
- Prepare and maintain functional design documents (FDDs), process documentation, and configuration specifications.
- Interpret system capabilities, constraints, and best practices for business stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve functional issues.
- Reproduce issues in sandbox environments.
- Perform approved data corrections and configuration changes.
- Support incident, problem, and root-cause analysis activities.
- Maintain Project Operations configuration, workflows, parameters, and business rules.
- Assess impacts of changes across D365 F&O, Project Operations, Customer Engagement, integrations and reporting.
- Support UAT, regression testing, release validation, and Microsoft platform updates.
- Recommend continuous improvements and process alignment opportunities.
- Degree or diploma in Business, Project Management, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are an asset
- 5–8+ years of Dynamics 365 experience, with significant experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management, resource management, project accounting, forecasting, billing, and related project delivery processes.
- Experience with process analysis, redesign, documentation, fit-gap assessments, and continuous improvement.
- Experience preparing and supporting Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration activities, testing, and process alignment.
- Experience in a post-implementation sustainment environment providing L2 support, release support, UAT, regression testing, and business-as-usual operations.
- Excellent communication and interpretive skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
- Strong documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
