As a Business Analyst supporting our D365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform, you will gather and translate business requirements, analyze workflows, and support solution design and implementation that improve business processes and efficiency. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive continuous improvement. - 3+ years of experience in business analysis, digital solutions, or a related role
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Azure DevOps/Jira, and Power BI
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and creating user stories
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, minimize risk and enhance performance
- Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements through stakeholder collaboration (user stories, process flows, use cases)
- Partner with the Product Owner and product team to prioritize requirements and support backlog management, including writing clear acceptance criteria and defining success measures
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and user adoption activities
- Use data, insights, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement and business value
- Actively participate in workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities
- This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
- Our professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
