Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team at SII Belgium. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their business needs and requirements, and then translating those into technical solutions. You would join various teams working in Agile mode for projects in the Energy, Aerospace Defense, Banking or Telecom sectors.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives 
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals 
• Create detailed project plans and timelines 
• Write functional specifications for data processing chains 
• Identify and mitigate project risks 
• Support, manage the development of projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders 
• Write user and business guides, design training or information materials product.  
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client 

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business & Functional Analyst role 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) 
• Experience in UML modeling tools or business process tools 
• Knowledge of relational databases and being able to write (simple) database queries (SQL) 
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle 
• Team player with active listening and comprehension 
• Qualitative result driven and customer oriented 
• Pro-active and assertive 
• Good level of English and French (trilingual is a plus)
