Business Analyst | Swindon (Hybrid) | £45,000 - £50,000


People Talent is partnering with a well-established UK organisation with a nationally recognised brand that is investing heavily in digital transformation and technology. As they continue to modernise their systems and business processes, they're looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing Technology Services team.


You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology, driving process improvement, supporting digital transformation projects, and ensuring solutions meet both operational and strategic objectives.


We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving business problems, engaging with stakeholders, and helping organisations deliver meaningful change through technology.


What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering business and technology change projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience translating business needs into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria and technical requirements
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experience supporting backlog refinement, prioritisation and sprint planning
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and manage conflicting stakeholder priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to support decision making, business cases and process improvement
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience working alongside technical teams to assess solution options, feasibility, risks and dependencies


Nice to Have

  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Miro or similar Business Analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques including BPMN, User Story Mapping, MoSCoW prioritisation, Gap Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience supporting IT strategy, digital transformation or organisational change programmes
  • Exposure to process improvement initiatives and benefits realisation
  • Experience working within complex, multi-site or customer-facing organisations
  • Relevant Business Analysis certifications (BCS, IIBA or equivalent)
