Product Specialist

As an AI Product Specialist, you will support the delivery of Consumer Insurance initiatives across AI and emerging technology. Working within a cross functional transformation team, you will help progress strategic projects from concept through to implementation. This role combines stakeholder engagement, delivery coordination, continuous improvement and governance activities to support customer, people and business outcomes. You will work closely with product leaders, technology teams and business stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to life.

What You'll Do

• Support the delivery of AI and emerging technology initiatives across the portfolio.
• Manage internally developed AI and generative AI solutions, ensuring performance, adoption and value outcomes are sustained across Consumer Insurance.
• Assist with requirements gathering, analysis and refinement with stakeholders and project teams.
• Lead quality assurance, testing and validation activities across multiple AI products, partnering with business subject matter experts to assess outputs, identify risks and support the delivery of safe, accurate and effective AI solutions.
• Provide domain expertise across claims processes, internal systems and digital assets to support solution design, delivery, release readiness and ongoing optimisation of AI-enabled capabilities
• Monitor risks, issues and blockers, and contribute to effective governance practices.
• Support portfolio reporting and provide updates on initiative progress and key milestones.
• Identify and assess opportunities that improve customer, efficiency and business outcomes.

• Experience within insurance, financial services or a related industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of Consumer Insurance claims processes, internal claims platforms and digital assets, with the ability to apply operational expertise to testing, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Exposure to project delivery, transformation programs or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI solutions, generative AI initiatives or large-scale business transformation programs, with an understanding of governance, testing, risk management and change enablement.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actions.
• Effective stakeholder communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams to define requirements, coordinate testing and embed new capabilities, particularly within complex operational environments.
